Adriana was brought up in the East and has lived in Brisbane Australia, since 1975. She believes she is fortunate to have the cultural influence of both, the East and West.
She lives with her family in Brisbane and runs yoga and relaxation classes/workshops in various studios, gyms, parks, and retirement homes. This book of Hatha Yoga has been put together with lots of thought and love for everyone with different strengths, it’s hoped to help:
- Those who have difficulty in getting off a mat in “Chair Yoga”
- The frail in retirement/nursing homes
- Those recovering from cancer
- Those with MS and any muscle problems
- Special needs kids
- Workplace
- Practical yoga practised anywhere and at any time
- Anyone who needs relief through yoga
- Wheelchair bound participants
- Active kids and adults
Yoga to Adriana is a way of life. Her thoughts are, “Yoga is not a religion. It is an art, a science. The pressures of life in our society a rat-race”. Yoga can actually slow you down. “Breathe in and breathe out as in the Karate Kid movie”.
Each day and moment she captures experiences which are put to practical use, if and when possible. She believes that in this world, time management is an important strategy, and by practising yoga, being in the present moment, time is not a snag.
She encourages anyone who picks up this book to try just one exercise and feel the transformation.

Adriana will donate a percentage of all profits from this book to the Cancer Council Queensland, Australia.
